College Challenge Courses: Calculus
These courses are offered to students of any age wishing to achieve a level of expertise in this important discipline equivalent to that expected of a first or second semester college freshman. These courses are also designed to provide skills that will enable the student to pass any of the College Board's calculus examinations or to challenge any American college's first semester calculus experiences.
In addition, higher level calculus courses are offered by Linda Christas for engineering, physics and other applications. These courses are designed and presented on an ad hoc basis.

General Equivalency Diploma Examination Preparation (Guaranteed Pass)
The Linda Christas GED curriculum is offered to students of any age wishing to take and pass the College Board GED Examination with a passing score. The program is guaranteed to result in a score acceptable for college credit. Should the student fail to achieve a passing score or better on the GED examination, at the student's discretion, a GED instructor will be assigned to him/her at no extra cost until an acceptable GED score is achieved. Duration: One calendar year beginning from the date service is purchased.

Parent/Guardian Education Program
This program is designed to bring greater awareness of the state of education today, and how parents/guardians can make the most of their children's educational development and future prospects for higher learning and beyond. This in-depth course is personally delivered online via a Dean-level academic professional. Participants enjoy in-depth discussion of No Child Left Behind legislation, student motivational factors relative to academic excellence, composition of appropriate counseling at the middle school and high school levels, the roles of principals and superintendents in public education, evaluation of international student achievement components and leadership in the educational community. Additional topics include the history of educational reform in the United States, college admissions systems, the academic index, elements for matching college mission statements with student skills, a comparison of 1950's curriculum design with more recent models, European educational patterns that surface in the United States, and the ADD and ADHD models used in United States public schools.

Linda Christas Online Academy (Accredited by I.A.S.C.)
This program replaces the student's participation in a formal on-campus academic curriculum. Tailored to the student's interests and pace, Linda Christas Online Academy assignments normally involve an average of four hours study each day. A fully credentialed teacher, working with students individually, determines the curriculum. An official transcript of record is provided to the student at the conclusion of each academic year. Additionally, an accredited diploma is awarded to the student at the completion of the middle school or high school program. Duration: Typically enrolled on a per-school-year basis (grades 7 through 12) beginning in September and ending in June.

Standard College Counseling and Supplementary English Language Program
This program provides high school seniors with Dean level expertise to assist the student to package himself/herself in such a way so as to obtain the best possible financial offers from colleges of choice. Assistance in choosing the most appropriate colleges based on objective insider criteria (not found in annual national magazines rankings) is also included with this Linda Christas service.
The program also provides academic and extracurricular counseling through the first year of college or university training, the time when many students leave college for a variety of unfortunate reasons. (More than half of students who begin a four-year college degree program in the United States never finish.)
For students who enroll earlier than senior year in high school (eligible starting at age twelve), the program assists students to maintain academic, extracurricular and social balance as they navigate the sometimes confusing journey toward post secondary academic experiences and careers.

College Application and ACT/SAT Test Preparation Program
The Linda Christas College Application and ACT/SAT Test Preparation Program is designed for students who are in their junior or senior year of high school.
The Program provides a college-specific, logistically accurate "path-to-walk-on," as students prepare their applications for consideration by first choice colleges. This is important, especially for students who are in need of significant financial assistance in order to attend their college of choice.
Many families are unaware that the order and explanation of high school activities, the elements of recommendation letters, the content of student essays, and many other considerations play important roles in precipitating enabling offers from America's most effective colleges and universities.
One-on-one coaching from state credentialed instructors to prepare for the ACT or SAT is also included with this Program.
Duration: Maximum duration of program is two years.

Stay-at-Home School Coordination Program (Parent or Guardian Managed)
This program provides parents/guardians with a Credentialed Master Teacher who serves to enable them to design and manage curriculum for the stay-at-home student. At the conclusion of the middle school or high school experience, Linda Christas awards an accredited diploma to the student. The curriculum suggested to the parents/guardians also specifically addresses the student's individual aptitudes, interests, skill levels, learning style and emotional preparedness. Homework Helper Tutorials: Mathematics, Science or English
These tutorials are purchased separately, and involve Linda Christas teachers helping the student to understand mathematics, science and English classroom assignments emanating from his/her on-campus teacher. There are no independent assignments given to the student by Linda Christas teachers in this program. These tutorials are offered to seventh through twelfth grade students. English Mentoring Program
This is an English program separate from any on campus academic English lessons the student may have. Its focus is to teach the student the structure of English as that was offered during the middle of the 20th century. The program is meant to complement not compete with or clarify an English curriculum taken anywhere else by the student. The purpose of offering this program is to begin to answer specifically the goals of the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND legislation passed by Congress and signed by President Bush.
