Linda Christas - International Association of Schools and Colleges
Doctor Paul Davies has accepted the Davies Chair for Science and Philosophy established by Linda Christas in honor of the Davies name.
Dr. Davies is an internationally acclaimed physicist, writer and broadcaster (BBC Specials and 60 Minutes).
He is a winner of the Templeton Prize. (Other winners of the Templeton Prize are Mother Teresa and Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.)
Dr. Davies currently holds the title of Professor at Arizona State University. In 2005, he took up the SETI Chair: Post Detection Science and Technology Task group of the International Academy of Astronautics.
Dr. Davies works at the forefront of research in fundamental physics and cosmology and has sought out those areas of scientific inquiry that have made outstanding contributions to quantum physics and cosmology.
Linda Christas students consider Dr. Davies one of the three top scientists in the world. In their words, "The Rock Stars of Science." The other two are Dr. Stephen Hawking, and Dr. Roger Penrose.

Pat Boone has accepted the John William Boone Chair for the Performing Arts.
Pat Boone has appeared in more than a dozen major films and, next to Elvis Presley, was the best selling recording artist of the fifties. He is the composer of "Exodus." Mr. Boone also serves as Chairman of the University Board at Pepperdine.
Sue Grafton has accepted the Augustus Henry FitzRoy (Third Duke of Grafton) Chair for Literature.

Efrem Zimbalist Jr has accepted the Efrem Zimbalist Sr Chair for the Performing Arts.
Efrem Zimbalist Jr won a Pulitzer Prize for his Broadway production of "The Consul." In addition, Mr. Zimbalist has an impressive list of screen credits, including the major motion picture "Airport," and the popular television series, "77 Sunset Strip," and, "The F.B.I." In 2003, Mr. Zimbalist released his autobiography, My Dinner of Herbs.
