BOND's stated mission is "Rebuilding the Family by Rebuilding the Man."
Since 1990, BOND has helped primarily black men and their families maintain or regain control of their lives and overcome life's challenges.
In addition, Rev. Peterson has served as a voice in the black community reassuring the majority of citizens that black Americans can take responsibility for their own lives without blaming others for poverty when it occurs.
Linda Christas students were drawn to Rev. Peterson because of his messages in opposition to the reigning philosophy of black leaders like the Rev. Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, Jackie Speier and others, who portray black citizens as victims who should view themselves as downtrodden by reason of white racism.
In his book SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America, Rev. Peterson describes how Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition resorts to nearly anything and everything short of outright violence and extortion for profit, thereby disadvantaging middle class blacks who become viewed, thanks to the Rev. Jackson, as employee time bombs, since employers never know when the Rev. Jackson will show up at their doors to cause no end of grief.
Rev. Peterson is a nationally recognized media personality, appearing on programs such as Sean Hannity, Dennis Prager and many others. The Rev. Peterson also hosts a radio program and podcast. He is also the Founder and President of BOND Action, a cultural education and activist organization, and recently founded The South Central L.A. Tea Party.
