Chinese Student Accepted at Prestigious Colleges
by Denise Fountainbleau, Student Editor, Class of 2012

Gina (Xinghui Zhu)
After an exciting 12th grade curriculum of calculus, English literature and business, as well as a holiday tour of Switzerland, Gina was ready to attack her college applications with a vengeance which she did with the help of her Linda Christas counselor.
The result? Gina has been accepted by colleges known among those who understand and appreciate quality education as the most student friendly and productive undergraduate institutions anywhere.
Ursinus College, founded in 1869, is one of the 8% of colleges in the U.S. good enough to have a Phi Beta Kappa chapter. The school's students are recruited for summer internships both in America and abroad. For example, you will find Ursinus undergraduate students serving as interns in the House of Commons in England, and as research assistants in a wide variety of original science efforts. (Ursinus awarded Gina a $13,000 tuition reduction.)

Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts at Juniata College
The Pratt Institute for Design in New York, one of the most outstanding design colleges in the world, has asked Gina to join them.
However, with all her options, where Gina will attend is still a well guarded secret.
This is to congratulate Gina for her senior year successes at Linda Christas Academy. No matter where she finally decides to continue to hone her enthusiasm for learning, Linda Christas is confident she will be one of those individuals who will lead the way for others in the coming decades.
