Quill and Vision Project

Quill and VisionIt is the purpose of Linda Christas Quill and Vision to provide an avenue for next generation writers, an avenue which currently is substantially absent from the creative writing environment in the United States.

Unlike the majority of writers' agencies which are forced for economic reasons to attempt to recruit writers who can command the highest fees, Linda Christas only engages writers who are unpublished or un-produced.

There is no active intention at Linda Christas Quill and Vision to assemble a cadre of professional writers who can command large advances, subsequent adaptation rights sales, and/or royalties. Linda Christas' goal is to grant next generation writers the opportunity to begin fruitful and exciting writing careers.

All submitted speculative scripts and book length fiction and nonfiction are submitted to published and produced writers for review free of charge to the beginning writer.

Beginning writers who achieve professional quality in their work are rewarded with a Linda Christas Quill and Vision agency agreement, and subsequent representation to both hard copy publishing houses and film production companies.

Linda Christas Quill and Vision makes special efforts to:

a) Reach and represent unpublished writers of book-length fiction and nonfiction;

b) Reach and represent un-produced writers of original television and screen properties.

Linda Christas Quill and Vision understands that the life journey of many talented writers is difficult. The road leading to an involvement with established literary and theatrical communities is sometimes impossible to navigate alone.

Linda Christas Quill and Vision provides next generation writers full "readings" and "critiques" of original literary and theatrical properties (scripts).

For unpublished fiction and nonfiction writers, Linda Christas Quill and Vision works with small publishing houses, typically presses that publish ten or fewer titles per year. These publishing entities are able to grant to the new writer attention frequently impossible with the larger houses.

For un-produced writers of original television and screen properties, Linda Christas Quill and Vision enlists the assistance of producers, directors, managers and agents of theater personalities, or, in some instances, the artists themselves, as appropriate creative vehicles are identified.
